Immersed in Australian Irish heritage and culture, Tara Distillery brings together a passionate team of close friends steeped in the Irish traditions of music, dance, and the shared love of a good dram.

While taking our cues from classic Single Malts and Pure Pot Still Whiskey, together with Australia's thriving craft spirit scene, we bring a fresh approach that reflects these grand traditions with energy and passion.
The distillery was founded in 2016 by Alarna Doherty, and has developed into a partnership of likeminded people who have a passion for quality spirits. In 2019 the distillery took shape with the arrival of our two copper pot stills from Griffith.
